Online Discussions
Monthly online discussions are continuing education opportunities for mental health interpreters.  QMHI's are required to have 40 contact hours continuing education per year. 

Important: Beginning Jaunary 2012, A valid login and password will be required to join the session.  

Registration fee for all online discussions in calendar year 2012 is just $25.* 
How to Register:

  1. Download and fill out the 'Permission to File CEUs" form.  This will serve as your registation form for all 2012 online discussions.
  2. Send a check for $25.00 made out to ADARA- MHIT Fund along with the completed form to:

The Objectives of the training:
  • To understand the dynamics of working across languages and cultures in treatment
  • To identify the cultural self awareness of hearing individuals/interpreters/mental health clinicians
  • To give the participants an opportunity to ask questions about the culture and learn from each other
