ODS is an RID-Approved Sponsor for Continuing Education
The Office of Deaf Services proudly collaborates with the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf to provide continuing education for interpreters in Alabama and throughout the Southeast. All workshops sponsored or provided by ODS, whether interpreter related or clinically-focused, are approved by the CMP/ACET program. We also provide CEUs for workshops that we co-sponsor. ODS is an RID Super Site
ODS is approved as an RID Super Site, which means that we are able to provide certification testing for candidates wishing to be a Nationally Certified Interpreter, or to receive one of the subspecialty certifications. Visit the Testing page for more details.
